Milk Thistle, Bristol

I often get the chance to work in some amazing places. The Milk Thistle in Bristol is one of the places in which I find myself shooting relatively often. Working alongside the Showgirl Academy I am often asked to shoot birthday or hen parties at the venue. Normally when I tell people that I photograph hen parties, people assume that they MUST be drunken and debauched affairs but in reality they are sophisticated events with an emphasis on having a lot of fun. Of course there is normally always a glass or two of champagne involved but we have a great time playing around with feather fans and other props capturing some lovely images as a memento of the day.

What really makes the photographs stand out is the venue itself. Stuffed full of curious little artifacts it is the perfect venue for a vintage photoshoot. I just love seeing all of the little details that they have added to make the venue feel authentic! Here is a small peek inside although it really doesn't scratch the surface of what the venue has to offer!
